Afandou Beach (Afantou)
Afandou Beach, being one of the longest beaches in Rhodes, is located 19 km south of Rhodes town. The village of Afandou (Afantou) lies around the natural bay. This beach offers some commercially organized parts, as well as parts that are not organized.
Agathi Beach
Agathi beach is famous for its fine sand and its shallow waters. On your way to the beach, you will see the Medieval Castle of Feraclos (Feraklos), which is also worth a visit.
Agios Georgios Beach

Anthony Quinn Bay

Faliraki Beach
Faliraki beach is the most popular, and the most highly organized beach on Rhodes. More than 5 kilometers wide, here you can find anything you can possibly ask for.
Fourni Beach
A small and peaceful beach below Monolithos – just a pebble beach and splashing among the waves. It is ideal for those who enjoy the wild beauty of nature.
Gennadi Beach
Gennadi beach combines two different characters, and is basically a continuation of Kiotari. Sand and small pebbles as far as the eye can see – and the liveliest beach parties held anywhere on Rhodes.
Glystra (Glistra) Beach
Glystra beach is a beautiful little cove with fine sand, popular with those who want their umbrella and some peace.
Haraki (Charaki)
Haraki (Charaki) is an attractive little bay offering family atmosphere. It is mainly visited by tourists renting rooms nearby, but families of local people also come out with their umbrellas and settle themselves on the no-charge section in the center of the beach.
Ialyssos Beach (Ialysos)
Ialyssos (Ialysos) beach is one of the most highly organized beaches on Rhodes, and many hotels are located in this area. Like Ixia beach, it is partly pebbly, and very popular to windsurfers as it is mostly windy and wavy as well.
Ixia Beach
Ixia beach is a hotel beach resort, one of the most cosmopolitan on the island on Rhodes, and an extremely popular choice with those seeking high-quality accommodation near the town of Rhodes.
Kalathos Beach
Kalathos beach offers sand and tiny pebbles as far as the eye can see. Even on the national Greek holiday of 15th August, when every beach in the country is packed with people, you’ll find a place here just for you.
Kallithea (Kalithea)
Kallithea (Kalithea) beach is one of the most popular among the locals. It is composed of many small creeks covered with pine-trees. The waters are deep, so you will have to be a bit careful when swimming there.
Kavourakia Beach
Kavourakia beach is a quieter alternative to Faliraki beach and the beaches in Rhodes town, and is easily accessible from both sites.
Kiotari Beach
Impressive and vast, Kiotari beach has grown over the last years with large, luxury hotels, well-run restaurants and tavernas, and a shopping center with more or less anything you need.
Kolymbia beach
Kolymbia (or Kolympia) is an organized, mostly sandy beach, but by no means as crowded as the neighbouring beach of Faliraki. The hotels in the area are mostly preferred by elderly visitors and families, so the atmosphere in the entire area is somewhat relaxed.
Kopria Beach
This remote little beach is 45 km southwest of the city of Rhodes, on your way to the castle of Kritinia.
Ladiko Beach
Ladiko beach offers fine sand, small rocks, sun beds, umbrellas, tree-clad hills all around, emerald water, showers and a taverna. It is very popular, especially in August.
Lardos Beach
The beautiful sandy beaches of Lardos are known as some of the best beaches on the island. You will find crystal clear waters here – it is a Blue Flag awarded beach, situated on southern end of Pefkos bay.
Limni (Apolakkia) Beach
Limni beach is a wide remote stretch of beach on the lower west side of the island, just under the village of Apolakkia. It is out of the way and not the easiest place to get to, but you can still find some comforts, such as showers and a toilet block.
Pefkos Beach (Pefki)
As a relatively low profile beach resort area, Pefki (Pefkos) is made up of smaller hotels and rooms to let. The pines stand tall above the buildings, as you look back towards the shore from any of the chairs on the sandy coves.
Lindos Beach
Lindos offers two different beaches actually, sharing the same bay. There are sunbeds and umbrellas everywhere, and the beaches are well occupied, but not necessarily crowded.
Plimmiri (Plymmiri)
Plimmiri beach (or Plymmiri beach) is on the southeast side of the island, about 70 km south of Rhodes Town. This area is not heavily developed yet.
Prasonisi Beach
Prasonisi is for sure one of the most impressive beaches on Rhodes, at its southernmost end. Two sandy coves ending in an island that you can reach on foot or by swimming, depending on the weather and the level of the water.
Rhodes Town Beach (Elli Beach)
Elli beach in Rhodes Town, being one of the most popular Greek beaches among photographers, still retains something of its cosmopolitan aspect from the 70’s, and is one of the most visited beaches on the island.
Soroni Beach
Soroni is a beach with clear and fresh waters, and is one of the more popular beaches for windsurfing. It is pebbly and the sea is usually slightly wavy, and a constant wind or strong breeze will ease the heat during the day.
St. Paul’s bay (Agios Pavlos)
At St. Paul’s bay, you will find sand and pebbles, with rocks from which to dive into the crystal water. You will have to leave the car well before you reach the beach, and then you have to walk. You can also come here from Lindos on foot.
Stegna Beach
The beach resort of Stegna in Rhodes is characterized by relaxing and family atmosphere. It is located just 500 meters away from the village of Archangelos, ans it is an ideal place for people looking for relaxation and a traditional “village” feeling.
Tsambika Beach (Tsampika)
Tsambika beach is long and broad with fine, golden sand and dozens of colourful little flags marking out the various eating establishments and beach sports centers. Tsambika is one of the most beautiful beaches on Rhodes.
Vlycha Beach (Vlicha)
Vlycha (Vlicha) is a little beach just before Lindos has a sun bed for everyone, while the sea here deepens smoothly and gradually.
Zephyros Beach (Zefyros or Zefiros)
Zephyros beach is situated on the northeast side of the island, at the city entrance as you arrive from Faliraki and Kalithea, close to the new Marina of Rhodes.
